Below are the steps to change the account area and the shared VPN service passwords - keep in mind both are independent to each other.
Below are the steps on how to change the Shared VPN service password.
- Log in to your PremierVPN Account Area.
- Click on the Services menu and then click My Services.
- Click on the service name you want to change the password for.
- Click on the Change Password link on the left sidebar.
- Enter the new password in the New Password and Confirm Password fields.
- Click on the Change Password button.
The shared VPN service password will be changed.
Below are the steps on how to change the Account Area password.
- Log in to your PremierVPN Account Area.
- Click on your Account Name in the top right-hand corner to show the account menu.
- Click on the Change Password link in the menu.
- Enter the old password in the Old Password field.
- Enter the new password in the New Password and Confirm Password fields.
- Click on the Change Password button.
The account area password will be changed.
Here are some additional things to keep in mind when changing a service password in WHMCS:
- The new password must be eight characters long and contain at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one unique character.
- The new password cannot be the same as the old password.
- If you change the password for a service currently in use, the user will be logged out and need to enter the new password to log back in.
- To change a password for a Dedicated VPN server, please contact support.
