Below are the steps to change the account area and the shared VPN service passwords - keep in mind both are independent to each other.

Below are the steps on how to change the Shared VPN service password.

  1. Log in to your PremierVPN Account Area.
  2. Click on the Services menu and then click My Services.
  3. Click on the service name you want to change the password for.
  4. Click on the Change Password link on the left sidebar.
  5. Enter the new password in the New Password and Confirm Password fields.
  6. Click on the Change Password button.

The shared VPN service password will be changed.

Below are the steps on how to change the Account Area password.

  1. Log in to your PremierVPN Account Area.
  2. Click on your Account Name in the top right-hand corner to show the account menu.
  3. Click on the Change Password link in the menu.
  4. Enter the old password in the Old Password field.
  5. Enter the new password in the New Password and Confirm Password fields.
  6. Click on the Change Password button.

The account area password will be changed.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind when changing a service password in WHMCS:

  • The new password must be eight characters long and contain at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one unique character.
  • The new password cannot be the same as the old password.
  • If you change the password for a service currently in use, the user will be logged out and need to enter the new password to log back in.
  • To change a password for a Dedicated VPN server, please contact support.
